Elisabeth Hasselbeck born as Elisabeth DelPadre Filarski on May 28th, 1977 in Cranston, Rhode Island, USA is a famous American television personality. She is best known as co-host on the United States daytime talk show "The View" and as a successful participant on the "Survivor: The Australian Outback".

Elisabeth Hasselbeck was born to Elisabeth DelPadre, a Catholic school teacher and a lawyer and Kenneth Filarski, an architect. She has a brother named Kenneth Jr.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck studied at St. Mary School in Cranston and finished her high school from St. Mary Academy in Bay View in Riverside, Rhode Island in 1995. Elisabeth Hasselbeck later graduated in 1999 from Boston College in Fine Arts specializing in industrial design and large paintings. Elisabeth played softball during her college days and led the college team for two consecutive seasons. While still at college, Elisabeth Hasselbeck began working for Puma shoes in 1998 in its designing department. She has also traveled to Italy and Belize, a Central American country as part of her assignments with Puma Shoes.

At the instance of her shoe designer friend, Elisabeth Hasselbeck became a reality member of the "Survivor: The Australian Outback" {42 days: January 28th 2001 to May 3 2001}, the second edition of the American reality show "Survivor". She was part of the Kucha tribe and survived for 39 days on the show that lasted 42 days. Her longest survival as part of 'The Final Four' has made her more popular among the television viewers scoring a rating of 9.3 out of 10 in the online approval poll. She was in more demand for the third edition of the "Survivor: All-Stars".
